I’m ready to GIVE NOW

Make a Difference for Our Neighbors in Need

Richard, a local Vietnam veteran with disabling complications from Agent Orange, who lives on a fixed income. Richard received food from Santa Ynez Valley Community Outreach when his check ran out. A food grant funded by SBF donors filled the gap.

When you give to the Santa Barbara Foundation’s Community Engagement Fund, your contribution supports programs that serve our neighbors in need.

• Ensure basic needs are met for our most vulnerable residents by supporting organizations that provide food, shelter and safety, behavioral health and health care, and more.

Johan, an 8-year-old student, who moved into low income housing with his family when his father was diagnosed with a terminal illness. He received support from the Camino Scholars program at People’s Self-Help Housing, made possible by SBF donors like you.

• Help working families with essentials such as quality child care.

• Advance affordable housing to create positive outcomes for children when they have a stable place to live.

• Strengthen our nonprofit sector, through SBF’s Collaboration for Social Impact, which provides grants and other resources to build capacity and keep our service organizations sustainable.

When you give $1,000 or more to the Community Engagement Fund in a single year, you’ll be recognized as a “Community Champion.”
