Arts and Culture Fund for Santa Barbara CountyArts and culture represent the heart of Santa Barbara County. Our collective art, culture and creative expression uniquely inspire local identity and belonging, bridge across differences, support equitable and resilient communities, reflect our shared humanity, and help us to reimagine a better future.
Since 2014, hundreds of representatives from Santa Barbara County’s diverse artistic and cultural populations have participated in a comprehensive process to create a community-designed, inclusive cultural arts master plan to benefit all residents. We envision a region where arts, culture, and creativity are integral to civic life.
This fund will support the successful implementation of initiatives outlined in the cultural arts master plan; it will also facilitate and encourage collaborative programs and projects to accomplish these goals.
We are committed to nurturing a sustainable arts and culture sector, promoting equitable access for all, and empowering county residents to innovate, collaborate, and thrive.
