October 5, 2020: First day ballots will be mailed to voters.
Due to the pandemic, all registered voters in California will automatically receive a ballot in the mail beginning October 5. If you are registered to vote and have not received your ballot in the mail by October 12, you should immediately contact the Santa Barbara County Registrar of Voters office at 805-568-2200.
Santa Barbara County polls will be open for 4 days: October 31 – November 3
There are less polling places than usual due to COVID-19, so your polling location may have changed. Finalized information about polling locations will be available approximately 30 days before the Election.
Ballot must be dropped off or postmarked in the by mail by November 3 – but the sooner the better!
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, every registered voter in California will receive a prepaid vote-by-mail ballot for the 2020 General Election.
