The Foundation established its campership program in 1967 to aid youngsters who could not afford to have a camping experience during the summer. Over the years in response to the community's changing needs, the campership program has expanded its support. In 2003, a Sports Scholarship element was added to support organizations that offer sports, unavailable to youth at school, or that significantly expand school sporting opportunities.
The Summer Campership and Sports Scholarship Program provides scholarship support to 501(c)(3) organizations that offer summer resident camps, unique summer enrichment camps, summer day camps and/or sports programs for their participants.
Check the program guidelines and contact Foundation staff before attending the workshop or submitting an application.

Please note: Nonprofit agencies are assigned to a specific field of interest based on their mission statement, not on the objectives of any particular program or capital request. Agencies must confirm their field of interest with a member of the Foundation's program staff prior to submitting an application. An agency's field of interest determines the application submission deadline.
