The Foundation values the importance of a healthy citizenry and ensuring that health care, prevention, and wellness services are available throughout the community. Hospitals, clinics, and agencies that support a continuum of health services across the lifespan are included in this field of interest. We support organizations that
- Develop the skills and independence of people with special needs, including those with drug and alcohol addictions, physical disabilities and mental illness
- Educate the public and provide support services for those affected by a specific disease or ailment
If you would like to support the Foundation in this area of grantmaking, you can help by:
- Giving directly to the charities listed above
- Giving an unrestricted gift to the Foundation for the support of Health & Human Services
- Creating your own named fund (Donor Advised Fund) to support Health & Human Services
Unfortunately, those resources do not cover all the grant requests received. Nonprofit organizations applying for grants most often only receive a portion of the funds they requested.
