The Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara:
Making a Difference for Women, Children, and Families

Established in 2004, the Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara responds to critical community needs by making substantial gifts in the Santa Barbara area. Through the power of collective philanthropy, the Fund serves as a catalyst for bringing women together with an emphasis on funding meaningful projects affecting women, children and families. The Fund is committed to educating and inspiring women to become leaders in philanthropy and to demonstrating the impact of collective giving.

How the Fund Works
Members contribute $2500 or more annually to impact issues affecting women, children and families in the greater Santa Barbara area. Each member has one vote per year. Granting is decided by a simple majority. Women wishing to make smaller donations may do so as non-voting contributors, or may form a group to collectively make the minimum $2,500 donation and decide together how their single vote will be cast.

Any donor giving $100 or more is invited to the annual Presentation of Funds event at the end of January.
