The 2008 financial statements reflect the Santa Barbara Foundation’s commitment to the communities of Santa Barbara County. The needs of our community and the interests of our donors are ever changing. Our unique structure helps us maintain the agility to assist thousands of individuals, families, businesses and organizations.
The Santa Barbara Foundation is one of the oldest community foundations in the nation, with assets of $222 million. In fiscal year 2008, the Foundation and its donors made close to $35 million in grants to nonprofit organizations and received gifts of more than $23 million.

Copies of the audited financial statements and the IRS Form 990 may be obtained by contacting the Foundation at 805-963-1873.
